  • Expert speakers – for you, for your students
  • Summit spanning both days in a dedicated venue

We've all seen the headlines. Every week brings another report, another news story on the pressures and anxieties impacting young people. This year’s Festival is delighted to host a summit dedicated to wellbeing, curated by the global schools group Cognita. Arguably the most pressing issue facing education today, mental health and wellbeing is on every school’s agenda. The wellbeing summit runs across both days of the Festival in Cognita Venue 2, exploring a wide range of themes.

Summit Agenda

Kick off your 2019 Festival experience on Thursday morning with clinical psychologist Bill Mitchell as he offers practical tips for maintaining your own resilience on both sides of the school gate. Check out other summit highlights, including the pressing issue of self-image in the age of social media, the role of metacognition in building resilience and a live debate with students from a range of schools on what wellbeing means to them. Join the conversation on this important topic by attending as much or as little of the summit as you wish over both days.
