Malcolm Richards is an educator and activist living in Devon. Malcolm has experience within education spaces, whether as teaching assistant, classroom teacher, senior leader, school governor or co-founder. Malcolm is currently an advisory teacher, working for regional, national and international education organisations. He is an active trade union member, and was recently elected as TUC South West Executive for Black and Ethnic Minority Members. Malcolm has contributed to a number of publications including ‘The Unexpected Leader’ by Iesha Small (2019). Malcolm will soon begin a PhD in Philosophy of Education at the University of Exeter, researching critical dialogic pedagogies, identity and inclusion, and futures of teaching thinking.
