Having graduated from Warwick University with a Masters in Chemistry, I began my teaching career in 2006 on a PGCE course. I completed my NQT in a large secondary school in Coventry, teaching Science and Chemistry. I spent 7 years at this school, progressing through the pastoral system, as a deputy head of college, head of college and head of year. I left in 2014 to take a role as SENCO and gained my SENCO qualification as the new code of practice was being implemented. After a further SENCO role back in Coventry I started my current role as lead practitioner at Easter 2018. In addition to my SENCO qualification I have also successfully completed both my NPQML and NPQSL.
