Jonathan Barnes

National Teaching Fellow in 2015 and currently Visiting Senior Research Fellow at Canterbury Christ Church University. He has taught throughout Asia and Africa and in primary and secondary schools in England and head teacher between 1992 and 2000. Jonathan has written widely on children learning in museums, localities and historic environments. His book Cross-Curricular Learning 3-14, is in its 3rd edition and a new book on the connected curriculum, Applying Cross Curricular Approaches Creatively published this year. He researches the psychological and social well-being aspects of arts interventions and co-founded the charity Educatio4Diversity
