Dr James Mannion works part-time as Bespoke Programmes Leader at the UCL Institute of Education. Prior to this, he was a teacher for 12 years and spent 8 years in school leadership positions. James holds an MA in Person-centred Education from the University of Sussex, and a PhD in Learning to Learn from the University of Cambridge. He is an Associate of Oracy Cambridge, a study centre dedicated to promoting effective spoken communication in schools and the wider society, and the Director of Rethinking Education, specialists in research-informed school improvement and professional development.
