How can schools build the active participation of children, teachers and parents? How can school leaders genuinely listen to the voices of these different groups and take account of them in school decision making? And how can these voices be woven together into a common sense of purpose? These are critical questions at a time when our democracy is in the balance. Drawing on inspirational practice from across the UK and further afield join Fiona Carnie for this interactive session to discuss ways of building a collaborative and responsive school community for the benefit of all.
Across two days, over 250 sessions will take place at the Festival. A full timetable of sessions will be available from late May 2019. Until this point we will only be announcing the day(s) sessions will be taking place.
