International Education: What works? A research-based approach to shaping the future direction.

This session will provide a tour de force through the principles of school leadership that have an evidence-based impact on learning and teaching in the context of international and bilingual schools.

Initially the importance of culture creation will be explored and the significance for planning for and evaluating school culture exemplified. The next phase of the session will provide a practical approach to distributed leadership in school. The session will move on to exploring the importance of monitoring and then effective CPD in raising standards. Current thoughts on effective and impactful approaches will be discussed.
