Inclusion at the heart: outstanding Initial Teacher Education


Building on the recent Carter Review and DfE expert panels looking at ITT content, behaviour management and mentor standards, as well as the introduction of SCITTs and School Direct, there is a welcome increased focus on the content and format of Initial Teacher Education in the UK. Considering best practice, research and links across sectors, this session will draw on the experience of founding a SCITT, designing and building an outstanding curriculum and some of the current challenges and solutions in the sector.
