The session will explore the seven fundamental principles of good curriculum design and the impact of different educational philosophies on how these principles are prioritised and held in tension. The implications of a cultural transmission philosophy of education – key principles: vertical integration and rigour – will be explored in greater detail.
This will be used as a basis to explain the Headteachers Roundtable views on the draft Ofsted Framework and its response to the consultation.
