How can teachers maintain positive relationships with the boys they teach? How might school leaders improve their school ethos by rethinking the way they interact with boys? And what can be done about our attainment gap, anti-school attitudes and problems with behaviour? Informed by research into boys’ relationships with each other, and their teachers, this session will combine short term practical advice and long term cultural shifts to help classroom teachers and school leaders to reconsider their attitudes to boys and education.
