Why engagement is essential to mental health service delivery
7 July | 11:15 am - 12:00 pm
Engagement is the key to delivering mental health services to more children and young people. Because the current system is designed around crisis care, young people who suffer from general anxieties such as self-esteem, loneliness, school stress or friendship issues never get help. There is no magic wand to satisfy demand for services but we know that early engagement can stop issues escalating to crisis point. Innovative, low cost and scalable solutions are essential. This session will explore digital, peer support and how it works to improve the mental health and well-being of young people.
