Sustainable Citizens – a concept whose time has come?

Jim Knight recently proposed a Private Members Bill in parliament. It is a “Bill to make provision in the national curriculum regarding sustainable citizenship and protection of the environment” and it passed through readings and committee stages in the House of Lords and the House of Commons.
