8 July | 2:15 pm - 3:00 pm

This session aims to understand how micro and macro racial experiences may be detrimental to the mental health and wellbeing of teachers of ethnic minority heritage. This session also explores how empowering statements may impact on the psyche of individuals and will provide practical strategies that can be used by individuals and organisations to create a psychologically safe environment that provides opportunities for positive wellbeing and secures the retention of ethnic minority heritage staff.
