No more excuses – how you can make a digital strategy work in an economically deprived area
7 July | 2:15 pm - 3:00 pm

In this session, Jess Pather and Emma Darcy from Denbigh High School will explain how a school in an extremely socio-economically deprived area overcame challenges of budget, infrastructure and staff confidence to develop a robust digital strategy and a 1:1 device scheme that ensured learning continued for all pupils both during and beyond the pandemic. As a DfE EdTech Demonstrator School, Denbigh has helped hundreds of other schools across the country to learn from their mistakes, challenges and successes and this session will share a wide range of practical examples for attendees to take back to their own environment.
