Identifying and Remediating Children’s Language Difficulties
7 July | 12:15 pm - 1:00 pm
Oral language skills are key to education and children’s wellbeing, and should be fostered in early years settings. This session will show that oral language interventions are being successfully delivered by teaching assistants in school and pre-school settings, using apps such as LanguageScreen and programmes such as the Nuffield Early Language Intervention (NELI). Professor Hulme will also share insights from the University of Oxford research that underpins both LanguageScreen and NELI.
