Bringing learning alive: An easy framework for ecological literacy for every classroom

8 July | 12:15 pm - 1:00 pm

This session will show you how the processes of nature provide a framework for teaching and learning – and can transform your thinking about school, community and education. Doug is a lifelong environmental educator and has created educational nature reserves from Nower Wood to the London Wetland Centre, was one of the leading proponents of school nature areas and a founder of the Real World Learning Campaign (Learning Outside the Classroom). He’ll share an easy-to-use framework that he’s used in all his design.
