High expectations, high support: effective strategies to support multilingual learners

High-quality curriculum should simultaneously support and challenge all multilingual students so that they can further develop their subject knowledge and language. All multilingual learners, regardless of their English proficiency level, should be offered a broad and ambitious curriculum. The highest quality curriculum and teaching which are responsive to the students’ needs ensure equality and equity for all MLs. The session will explore the plethora of ways in which we build the community where students do not just fit into, but belong.
