Good practice for including pupils with medical needs

Post pandemic, we are seeing increased numbers of young people presenting with medical and mental health difficulties that are preventing them from attending full time. This workshop will outline what you can do to ensure that those children feel included, are enabled to maintain contact with their peers and can easily transition back into school after a period of absence. Using case studies and examples from schools, including the outcomes from a project trialling the effectiveness of using telepresence robots, and other remote learning opportunities, attendees will come away with some practical strategies and resources that they can use.
