Creating the village that raises the child – our schools in our communities

This session addresses the principles behind some of the White and Green paper statements and explores how these could be realised in more ambitious, ethical and collaborative ways with professional trust, autonomy and resource that enables schools to generate leadership for our communities. Following the role of schools and leaders during the pandemic, it is clear that the civic responsibility and role of schools has never been more crucial than now. The session will consider frameworks for action, thinking on next steps and assess current models of best practice.
