Building confidence, communication skills and a global perspective through digital immersive storytelling
7 July | 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm
Join Dr Harriet Marshall to explore how real human stories provide a powerful medium through which to engage learners, helping them connect with a range of themes to reinforce learning and support SEL. For children with SEND, meeting new people or experiencing new places can have its challenges. We share here how adaptable, multi-sensory digital storytelling can play an important role in opening up the world to learner who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience it fully. We will look at research in SEND settings exploring the impact of immersive storytelling to build confidence and a global perspective.
