Beyond Emergency Remote Teaching; Online Education Enhancing SEND Provision
8 July | 2:15 pm - 3:00 pm
Online learning has been propelled into the spotlight following the Covid-19 pandemic. However, there is a distinct difference between ‘Emergency Remote Teaching’ and the targeted and effective use of online learning to enhance provision for students struggling to access mainstream education. This session will explore numerous case studies that exemplify how online provision has been utilised to improve access to education, support students with SEND and SEMH needs and address low engagement and attendance issues. It will give attendees real-life examples of practical and productive uses of online learning utilised to improve student outcomes and fill gaps in their provision.
