Anne Longfield: How we’re still getting children wrong

7 July | 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm

The talent of hundreds of thousands of children are being squandered. Drawing on her experiences as former Children’s Commissioner for England and now Chair of the Commission for Young Lives, Anne Longfield will explore why too many children are falling through the cracks, getting tangled up in knife crime, serious violence, gangs and the justice system. The Times Education Commissioner will discuss the need for ambitious reforms, including a new culture of inclusion and accountability in schools, to ensure that the most vulnerable children in society get the best start in life.
