James Aidoo

About James Aidoo

James Aidoo is a keynote speaker and education leader who inspires audiences with his insights on unlocking student potential, improving learning attitudes, and empowering school staff.

His journey began on Andover, a council estate in Islington, where underachievement and underprivilege shaped his early experiences. As a student, James was all too familiar with failure, but a single question from a school friend sparked a powerful realisation that changed his path. Drawing on his experiences, he shares with clarity how passionate teachers helped him overcome limitations and succeed.

As the CEO of Innerscope, a coaching company that partners with school leaders to improve attainment and attitudes towards learning, James has impacted the lives of thousands of students and staff nationwide. Innerscope recently received ‘The Best School GCSE Coaching Programme Award 2025’.

His work with learners and leaders is trusted by institutions such as Eton College, King’s College London, and Pearson Edexcel. James’ keynotes remind audiences that professionals who reconnect with their purpose can make a transformative impact on the students and staff they serve.

James’ multi-award-winning work, which has reduced youth crime and increased youth employment, exemplifies this mission. Known for making the profound practical, he leaves audiences with immediately applicable tools, equipping them to create meaningful change in education.
