Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity, making sure every LGBT+ young person can thrive. We work with schools and colleges across the UK to deliver our free programmes which make schools more inclusive, safer spaces for all.

 

– LGBT+ inclusive resource library: Ready-to-go resources for all subjects and key stages embedding LGBT+ inclusion throughout the curriculum, including assemblies and reading lists. Plus access to our free CPD e-learning training courses for primary and secondary staff.

– School talks: Our 18-25 year old ambassadors share their personal stories in secondary schools. Students get to hear real, relatable experiences of growing up LGBT+, and learn how to become allies. These talks inspire understanding, empathy, and acceptance.

– Pride Groups: We empower teachers and students to create safe spaces in secondary schools where LGBT+ students and allies can connect. With our expert guidance, easy-to-use activities and wider network, your school can become a beacon of support and inclusion.

– School Diversity Week: Our annual nationwide initiative that celebrates inclusion in schools. Every June we encourage schools to take part in an activity, no matter how big or small, to celebrate their community.
