Attending the Festival? Please find below some handy information.

Registration

Doors open at 08:30 each day – on both days of the Festival. Get ready to dive into two jam-packed days of inspiration, ideas, and connection.

Bring your ticket (printed or on your phone) and we’ll scan you in and hand over your Festival wristband.

Don’t forget to grab your delegate bag, kindly sponsored by AQA.

Bag checks may be carried out on arrival to help keep everyone safe.

Single Day Passes can be used on either day – no need to make changes.

Travelling by train?

We’ve got you covered! A free shuttle bus will run from Crowthorne Station to the Festival between:

  • 08:15 – 10:00
  • 15:30 – 17:30

Fancy a walk? It’s about 10 minutes from the station – mostly through the lovely school grounds.

 

Travelling by car?

There is plenty of free parking in-site. Just follow the signs and directions from our friendly team.

Gate options:

Please follow the directions of our parking stewards once on-site.

Vehicles are parked at your own risk.

 

What’s the Plan?

With nearly 300 sessions taking place, there is lots to discover. Here is how the day will unfold:

08:30 – 09:30 | Registration

09:30 – 10:15 | Period One

10:30 – 11:15 | Period Two

11:15 – 11:45 | Morning Break

11:45 – 12:30 | Period Three

12:45 – 13:30 | Period Four

13:30 – 14:45 | Lunch

14:45 – 15:30 | Period Five

15:30 – 16:00 | Afternoon Break

16:00 – 16:45 | Period Six

Food & Drink

Come with an appetite – from gourmet burgers to vegan wraps, there’s something for everyone. Food is served from 11:15 – 16:00, but coffee & breakfast are available from the start.

All stalls take card (no cash machine on-site)

Budget around £10–£15 for lunch and a drink

Check the app for dietary options & vendor menus

Find your favourite and enjoy your lunch picnic-style on the lawn!

 

Weather and What to Wear

Whether it’s blazing sunshine or a classic British drizzle, the Festival goes ahead in all weather!

We recommend:

  • Comfy footwear (you’ll be walking across grass and grounds)
  • Layers for changing temperatures
  • Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat if it’s sunny
  • A raincoat or umbrella just in case the clouds roll in

Stay comfortable, stay stylish – and stay prepared!

Accessibility

We are committed to making the Festival accessible and inclusive for all.

  • Blue Badge parking is available near the Festival site – ask security on arrival. For assistance from the car park, contact Philippa Barton on 07818 064914 in advance.
  • Accessible routes and toilet facilities are marked on the Festival map.
  • A festival buggy is available for those who require help moving around.
  • Some areas are on grass or accessed via ramps.
  • Assistance dogs are welcome – please bring any supplies they may need.

Wi-Fi Access

Stay connected while you’re at the Festival. Connect to the ‘Festival Attendee’ network and use password: Festival2025.

 

Stay Hydrated, Sustainably

Join us in making this year’s Festival of Education our most sustainable yet. With free water refill stations available across the site. All you need is a reusable bottle. Don’t have one? No problem! You can grab one of our exclusive Festival water bottles on the day. Stylish, practical, and eco-friendly – it’s the perfect Festival souvenir.

 

Emergency and First Aid

Feeling unwell or spot someone who needs help? Head straight to the Festival Office (Wellesley Building) or speak to any member of our Security team – they’re all first aid trained and ready to help. Your safety is our priority – don’t hesitate to reach out.
