In a nutshell, the Festival is a lively education event hosting speakers from across the education debate and providing valuable CPD. Across the two days, over 250 sessions will be held, and like other well-known festivals, attendees are free to decide what they wish to attend from our mammoth line-up. On the day youโ€™ll be able to decide between seeing one of our keynotes or attend a more practical and intimate workshop.

With thousands of festival goers in attendance, we kindly ask that all attendees must bring along their printed ticket or have access to your ticket via a smart device to allow for a speedy and smooth registration process.

Ticket purchase will be available on site, however it is strongly advised that all attendees purchase their tickets in advance.

More information regarding purchasing tickets for the Festival can be found here.

Across the two days over 300 speakers will contribute to the Festival. You can view the confirmed line up here. Further speakers will be announced right up until the week before of the festival.

The Festival will take place on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th July 2024. Gates open for the 14th Fesitval of Education at 08:30 on each day.

The official Festival App will go live in the weeks leading up to the event. Keep an eye on the website for more information on it's launch.

The College is situated in Crowthorne about 35 miles to the South West of London and can be reached by road from either the M3 or M4. If you are travelling by train, Crowthorne station is a 10-minute walk (mostly within the school grounds) to reach the entrance to the Festival.

If you are coming by car please arrive via the Dukeโ€™s Ride entrance which can be accessed using RG45 7PT if you are using a Satnav. There is no public access via other entrances.

What time do sessions take place?

Sessions commence at 09:30 on both days and finish at 16:45 on Thursday and Friday.

Over 4,000 people will attend the Festival across the two days. Given the broad array of content offered at the Festival there is a diverse audience in attendance, ranging from school leaders to teachers and governors. Around 80% of attendees are from state schools, universities and FE colleges.

One month before the event we will invite attendees to download the Festival App. On the app attendees will be able to view all of the sessions being offered and then create a personalised agenda.

This year we have partnered with bespoke catering providers to provide attendees with a true festival experience. Across the site there will be a selection of street-food style outlets. We will shortly be publishing menus for each outlet and pricing. We advise attendees to budget around ยฃ10-ยฃ15 for lunch and a drink. A cash machine is not available on site, all eateries will accept all major credit cards.
