Peter Hyman has led School 21 since it was founded in 2012. He is Executive Headteacher and is passionate about finding new ways of preparing young people for the fast-paced world they will be entering. He was formerly a deputy head at a secondary school in Southall in West London. Prior to that he was a political strategist to the Prime Minister. He left 10 Downing Street to become a teaching assistant, then trained as a history teacher before working to become a headteacher. He is author of 1 out of 10, From Downing Street Vision to classroom reality and has written regularly for national newspapers.
