Before joining teaching, Nick Rose worked as a post-graduate researcher in parapsychology. He became a teacher in 2003, teaching science and later psychology in secondary schools. As a Research Lead and Leading Practitioner he wrote a well-received blog examining how psychology can be applied to teaching. He recently co-authored a book with David Didau: ‘What Every Teacher Needs to Know about Psychology’ (published by John Catt in August 2016).
