Helen Cox is a geography teacher at Sir John Lawes Secondary School in Harpenden and also a Leading Practitioner for global learning and sustainability. She is passionate about children experiencing the countryside and believes strongly that children should grow up with an understanding of where their food comes from. She has recently led a Year 7 Project in collaboration with Farming and Countryside Education (FACE), Rothamsted Research and a local farmer aimed at developing leadership skills in disadvantaged students through a farming themed enrichment project. She is also a current trustee of FACE.
