Deputy Head, Bryanston School
David James is a Deputy Head in a leading independent school. He has taught English for twenty years. He is the author and editor of a number of textbooks and study guides. David has been a Teacher in Residence at the Department of Education, and has also worked as a Senior School Consultant for the International Baccalaureate Organization. He was the Director of the Sunday Times Education Festival for eight years, is a Google Certified Teacher and in 2016 was selected to be Riverdale Country School’s inaugural Zagat Global Fellow in New York, an initiative instigated to foster international partnerships between schools. He co-edited with Ian Warwick ‘World Class: tackling the ten biggest challenges facing schools today’, which was published this year.
