PhD candidate in Educational Studies at Brock University, Canada
Christina is a PhD candidate in Educational Studies at Brock University, Canada. She is a certified teacher of the Intermediate/Senior grades and holds a B.Ed. in Technological Education. Christina embraces a constructivist approach to teaching that promotes active learning, and learning by doing. This philosophy is evident in her current PhD research, which examines the relationship between students’ social skills, anger management, and sociomoral reasoning before and after students script and film moral narrative movies that illustrate the components of EQUIP (a psycho-educational curriculum). Canada’s Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) awarded Christina a federal scholarship for this research.
