Chris studied AI and Computer Science at the University of Birmingham. He completed a masters and PhD in Computer Science and Biomedical Imaging. Whilst finishing his PhD, Chris started the School of Code with the aim of making technology accessible to everyone. Over the past year Chris has won a number of awards including “Outstanding Technology Individual” at the Greater Birmingham Technology Awards. Chris has led the School of Code to partner with the BBC, run homeless coding classes, and taught 100,000 kids on the #HourOfCode. Chris believes that we must use technology to make our future fairer for everyone.
