Head of North Bridge House Prep
Brodie believes that children are natural philosophers – open-minded, naturally curious and constantly asking themselves, their teachers, parents and friends philosophical questions – whether they realise it or not!
Brodie has been Head of North Bridge House Prep in London, part of the Cognita group, for 11 years and has worked as a teacher in both the state and independent sectors, including a stint in Kenya.
From the big questions such as ‘Why we are here?’ to ‘Why do cats purr?’, Brodie strongly advocates the use of ‘P4C’ to allow children to think and debate issues, either practical or theoretical. Brodie is a strong believer in encouraging children to question and remain inquisitive throughout their time at school and beyond.
