Few doubt that overall behaviour in schools is better than in the past. However, we know that poor behaviour, and the associated workload, is a common reason given by people leaving teaching. We also know that many of our schools have successfully raised the bar even higher for their students, to great effect for outcomes and life chances. This session will look at the PTE “Behaviour Toolkit”, drawn from practice seen in some of our very best schools, and how teachers and parents can use it to help get the culture in their schools even better.
