Alongside Ofsted’s review into curriculum, greater emphasis is being given to the extent to which your school’s curriculum intent and mission is explicit, the extent to which this is embedded across the school, and how this affects leadership and pedagogic decisions. Building on SSAT’s long history of curriculum design, Colin will explore a new way of thinking about curriculum design. Using SSAT’s four pillars of intent, content, delivery and experience; as well as Dylan Wiliam’s seven principles of curriculum design, this workshop will offer both a theoretical approach to curriculum and practical, school-based activities.
