There is a wealth of research on how to improve how our students do at school. The last few years have also seen a growing interest by teachers in becoming more research informed. However, there is still a disconnect between what research tells us and what actually happens in the classroom. This is because some journals are hard to access or difficult to translate. This presentation will cover seminal studies on memory, mindset, learning teacher behaviour and more in a way that accurately communicates the research in a format that is digestible, engaging, interactive, and above all, useful.
