Metacognition and the art of misunderstanding

Cognita Venue 3

2:30 pm - 3:10 pm

General Content

The act of metacognition is not passive; it is an active self-knowledge of our understanding or – more importantly – our misunderstanding. This session will feature a number of our students and teachers sharing their experience of a metacognitive approach to learning as a way in to discussing how to achieve better outcomes for students. A whether learning from our mistakes is a strategy we should all employ.
