Measuring Progress in Education – The good, the bad and the future

A panel discussion to address the increasingly contested issue of whether it is possible to measure educational progress in a meaningful way. CEM brings together a distinguished panel of experts from research and practice to explore the following:

  • What do we mean by progress?
  • Is it possible to measure it meaningfully?
  • How can/should progress measures be used to benefit teaching and learning?
  • What happens when progress measures are misused?
  • What should we do now?
