Teachers are increasingly using research to inform their practice. But how do you know who to listen to? How do you choose ideas that are not just flashes-in-the-pan? And how do you know what to do with research once you’ve read it? We are Science teachers who were asked to help shape the recent EEF Science Guidance report. We’ll talk about how we decided what should be included, explain how the research was distilled into 7 practical recommendations, and suggest ways that you can apply these immediately within your own classrooms. But we will not tell you how to teach!
Across two days, over 250 sessions will take place at the Festival. A full timetable of sessions will be available from late May 2019. Until this point we will only be announcing the day(s) sessions will be taking place.
