Imagine a place where young people can explore life’s big questions, broaden their perspectives, show compassion and learn to make choices that shape a better future…
ThoughtBox is a community of teachers and changemakers committed to supporting a next generation of compassionate thinkers. We believe in the power of critical thinking, empathy and connection as the first steps towards emotional health and our connected learning programmes help young people to learn to make sense of the world whilst developing independent thinking, emotional intelligence and resilience.
Our SMSC Global Thinking Curriculum slots straight into timetabled PSHE lessons and tutor times, opening the box on a range of discussion topics to encourage compassionate & connected thinking. Our Student Workshops and Interactive Talks help connect the dots on core global issues, whilst our Healthy Classrooms teacher training programme supports teachers in holding space for discussions on difficult subjects. We also support school leaders in embedding empathy at the heart of teaching and learning to nurture a culture of positive emotional health.
Our work starts by standing alongside the next generation and recognising the capacity we have, as educators, to prepare young people with the life skills they need to build a more compassionate world.
