EasyRead Time Teacher

EasyRead Time Teacher

EasyRead Time Teacher make working wall clocks, alarm clocks, watches and classroom resources that help children learn to tell the time. Their simple step by step teaching methods and clear clock face designs enable most children, including those with dyslexia, autism and other additional needs, to quickly grasp this essential life skill.
EasyRead Time Teacher is a family business based in the UK and Australia. The company was formed in 2012 by brother and sister Roger and Sue Shackleton. Roger lives in Sydney, Australia & Sue is in Malvern, UK. Twenty five years ago when Roger’s children were small, he discovered how difficult it was to teach them to tell the time using a regular analogue clock. He searched for a clock to help him, but couldn’t find anything suitable. That’s what led to the idea behind EasyRead Time Teacher. A lot of trial and error later, Roger came up with a clock design and a 3-step teaching system that did the trick. His children learned to tell the time & Roger recognised a business opportunity. Roll forward 25 years & a few career changes, and EasyRead Time Teacher went into production. His sister Sue joined the business in 2012 and now they’re selling clocks all over the world.
The EasyRead product range includes wall clocks in 2 different sizes for the Classroom, robust outdoor Playground Clocks and Teaching Aids for the Student and Teacher. These all come in both a “Minutes Past & To” and “12/24 Hr” format.
